We also utilize state of the art anesthetic machines, monitoring equipment, and perioperative patient warming devices available. Green Tree Animal Hospital is proud to be a pioneer in regenerative medicine, being one of few hospitals offering this procedure in the state of Kentucky. Stem cell therapy is an afordable procedure used to treat arthritis and hip dysplasia, as well as joint, cartilage, ligament and tendon pain and damage. It can also be used to treat other degenerative issues. This procedure is fairly simple and involves surgically removing a small sample of adipose tissue (fat) to be processed for specialized stem cells and other important proteins. Once processed these cells are injected into the patient. Upon injection these cells encourage bone formation, liver cell regeneration, nervous system regeneration, wound healing, vascular rebuilding, skin repair, and cell regrowth!
