About We are Northern CT's original CrossFit Gym, established in 2009, focused on increasing the health, fitness, strength and overall well-being of all of our athletes. Story We are a CrossFit Gym helping people of all fitness levels reach their goals and see amazing results! Forging Elite Fitness in Enfield, CT and surrounding areas, est. 2009 Offering: CrossFit Classes for adults and teens, Barbell Club/Olympic Lifting, Personal Training, Nutrition Consultations/Programs, Endurance Training, Special Assessments, and Team Training in our 6,000 sq ft facility. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports."
