About Love God. Love Your Neighbor. Be the Anchor. Story Anchor is a vibrant and progressive evangelical Christian church located in a neighborhood just northwest of downtown Fort Wayne, Ind. We work with our fellow neighborhood churches to help make our neighborhood a better place to live. All sorts of people are part of Anchor - mostly sinners, some saints. Young people, old people, bunches of kids and youth. Neighbors and drive-ins, some walk to church, others travel from other cities. We believe that Jesus is good news - by following Jesus, he helps us become good news to our neighbors. This is what it means to be the Anchor, to be Jesus with our hands, head and heart. Everyday. Mission Anchor Community Church wants hundreds of their friends and family to become fully devoted followers of Jesus; to be a blessing to our city by transforming lives through loving God and our neighbor.
