About Offering a unique natural getaway just minutes from the city, Clark County Wetlands Park encompasses 2,900 acres along the Las Vegas Wash. Story Clark County Wetlands Park is free to visit and includes a 210-acre Nature Preserve, a Nature Center with interactive displays and activities for all ages, access from multiple trailheads, and walking and biking trails in designated areas. There are plentiful opportunities for wildlife viewing, photography, and simply escaping to a unique natural environment. At all access points, the park is open dawn to dusk. The Nature Center is open 9:00 am to 4:00 pm daily. Our award-winning Education programs teach youngsters and adults about wildlife and the ecology of the Las Vegas Wash through engaging, interactive programs that promote a sense of place and a connection to nature. Our offerings for adults, families, children, students and teachers include guided discovery walks, family programs, events, art, recreation programs, and opportunities to be involved in meaningful stewardship projects.
