The Friends of the East Lake County Library was formed March 14, 2001 with the expressed purpose to maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries; to focus attention on library services, facilities and needs; to create public support for and expanding and improving East Lake County Library and to stimulate gifts of books, magazines, videos, CDs, desirable collections and endowments and bequests.
