About The Medical Reserve Corps mission is to improve the health and safety of communities across the country by organizing public health, medical and other volunteers. Story The mission of the Adams County Medical Reserve Corp is to improve the health and safety of Adams County by organizing and engaging health care professionals who want to donate their time and expertise to respond to emergencies as well as to help promote healthy living throughout the year. Trained MRC volunteers will supplement existing public health resources and provide surge capacity during critical public health events. MRC volunteers will also participate in public health initiatives such as vaccination campaigns and public health disaster preparedness.
