About Adoption Hours Mon-Fri 10-5; Sat 9-4; Closed Sundays Holiday Closures: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Story Our shelter houses anywhere from 200-300 animals on any given day. We care mostly for dogs and cats, but have helped all species of small mammals, birds, reptiles, farm animals and more. We are not equipped to take in wildlife but will work to help any wildlife brought to us get to the appropriate rehabilitation center. Mission We work every day to provide a safe and humane environment for the 250-300 animals in our care and to also find loving and lifetime homes for as many of them as possible. We strive to educate the public on issues involving pets and animal welfare and welcome opportunities to address groups of all ages and interests Products ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees are $100 for dogs & $50 for cats under a year (for cats over a year old we have a 'name your fee' adoption program) all of which covers their spay or neuter (they don't go home with you until they are altered), vaccinations, dewormings, microchip, rabies vaccination if old enough, free visit to your participating vet, goodie bag with toys, treats, info.
