About Christian Church(Disciples of Christ) Story We are glad you stopped by for this electronic visit, and look forward to when we can meet you in person. This congregation has been witnessing to Jesus Christ since the town was settled. We take some pride that two of the founders of what is now known as the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) – Alexander Campbell and Barton Warren Stone both preached here. Regardless of the fact that we are over 175 years old, we are as new and fresh as today. We rejoice in our mission of loving God, loving others and reaching out to with the love of God to people from this community to the ends of the earth.
