About A rare/obscure bookstore & underground art venue. Created by a published author, artist & activist. Story Lhooq Books & The Exrealism Project Lhooq: Independent bookstore: rare, obscure, hard to find contemporary works in all genres and nonfiction topics. Primarily in art & design and, as well as an interesting arrangement of history to current affairs. Specializing in vintage, rare, hard to find, the uniquely beautiful, the lost and the sometimes forgotten. Underground, small press, independent, self-published, life changing, dangerous and obscure books from all genres and non-fiction topics ranging from ancient history, philosophy, science, warfare, "History written by the losers" all religion, emphasis of a large art section, current events and the best of any and all thing in-between and beyond. We also support and showcase new & underground art in all mediums. Live & Virtual live performances and events; including International literary readings, art & photography show, film (movie nights), music performances, photography, and social, political, philosophy, social physics symposiums.These events will have live audiences, and accessible live online and will then be edited and redistributed as an online streaming episodical series. We are attempting to expand into the global community through cooperation with likeminded, inspired, passionate and compassionate individuals and groups. Creating an intimate/global participatory living network, with our live virtual events and social media/communications. Supported and supporting all types of people, places and things above and underground throughout the world. Now that we have been cleared by the City we will soon be offering writing workshops, assistance in art projects, alternative career workshops and other other art/academic based programs. The scale and availability of these programs will depend on non-profit grants, in-house revenue and donations.
