About This page is to show my perspective about the Payne Center on campus of Southern Miss University. Story he Payne Center is a place where students go to work out, have fun, and play different intramural sports. It is a great place to relax and feel free after a long day of classes. It was built in 1993, and was donated by the brothers Jimmy and Larry Payne. At the Payne Center, they have different things that would catch your attention such as: a swimming pool, basketball courts, workout areas, weight room, full length track, and different events that take place weekly.
