Evridge, started the furniture division of Evridge's Inc. in Brady, Texas. It became one of the most well known furniture stores in the state of Texas. In 1985, Tom and Mary Barker married and Tom joined the Evridge Corporation. In 1998, Tom and Mary opened Aladdin Home Store in Marble Falls, Texas, and it has grown into one of the most notable furniture stores in the Hill Country. Aladdin Home Store has been voted by the Readers Choice Awards of the Highland Lakes News Papers as the favorite place to buy furniture and appliances for 6 years running.
