Story In the Italian-American household that Danny Husi grew up in, food was very important. Danny's mother was a first-rate cook, and her son inherited his mother's passion for Italian cuisine. He was also lucky enough to learn recipes and cooking tips that had been in his mother's family for generations. Five years ago, Danny's dream came true when he was able to open a restaurant called Taste of Italy in Avenel, NJ. When you visit our restaurant, not only will you have the opportunity to sample authentic Italian food, but you'll also be treated like one of our own. We don't stint on the size of our portions, either.
