About Congregation Temple Israel in Saint Louis, Missouri Story Congregation Temple Israel is a caring, inclusive community committed to living Reform Judaism and participating in the sacred destiny of the Jewish people and Israel through education, worship, and repair of the world. We always welcome new members who want to be an active part of a spiritual, intellectual congregation dedicated to building Jewish identity, spirituality and community. We are a progressive synagogue of diverse households living and celebrating Reform Judaism. We welcome and embrace congregants from all backgrounds, including interfaith families. Our temple is centrally located in the St. Louis suburb of Creve Coeur, Missouri. Our beautiful grounds and facilities include a large Sanctuary, an intimate Chapel, an auditorium, a commercial quality kitchen, a religious school/preschool building, a playground, an in-ground swimming pool for our summer camp and ample parking.
