About The Boone County Fire Protection District Station 3 has been proudly serving the citizens of Boone County and Hallsville area since 1970. We are apart of one of the largest volunteer fire districts in the state covering 492 square miles with 15 stations. Mission The mission of the Boone County Fire Protection District is to maintain an optimum level of preparedness to respond to incidents which affect personal well-being or the environment and to reduce the community's exposure to those incidents.
