About Welcome to the City of New Brighton Story The City of New Brighton prides itself on its excellent schools, many lakes, parks and recreational facilities, beautiful housing, progressive business community and numerous clubs and organizations. New Brighton's greatest asset is its people, they are warm and hospitable with many actively involved in their community making it a great place to live, work and play. We invite you to be part of the City by becoming involved as well.
