About Specialty Eye Care in Norfolk, Virginia Story Virginia Ophthalmology Associates was founded in 1984 by Dr. Annette Reda with a focus on adult and pediatric ophthalmology. We merged in 1992 with the Corneal Consultants of Tidewater to create a practice offering both comprehensive eye care for the entire family and specialist care in both pediatric and corneal surgery. We offer comprehensive eye care including the evaluation and treatment of cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy for adults, specialist care in corneal disease and refractive surgery, and specialist care in pediatric ophthalmology.
