About Cakes, Pies, Cupcakes, Cookies, Brownies, Banana Nut Bread, Etc. Story A Spoonful of Sugar is a locally bakery/deli located at 1155 Ryan Street. It is on the corner of Clarence & Ryan in the Transit Authority building. It is owned & operated by Daniel and Cindy Ellender who are proud parents of 9 children. Daniel is a USMC Veteran and currently works for the DOE, as well as the Lake Charles Marshall's office. Their oldest serves in the USAF, while 6 others attend Moss Bluff schools leaving only 2 attending daycare. Impressum Quaint French setting with wrought iron, marble top tables and chairs that rock. Bluebell glass bottle floats, chilled glasses of milk and a delightful array of homemade desserts!!! You will not be disappointed!
