About Doctor Jeffrey David Seder is a practicing cardiologist and bariatrician in both Estero, Florida and Supply, NC. Dr. Seder has treated patients from 16 to 84 years of age. Most medical insurances are accepted. Story Jeffrey D. Seder, MD is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. Since 2003 Dr. Seder has successfully treated hundreds of patients to medically lose weight safely while being considerate of their other medical disorders such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, sleep apnea to name a few. Our services: Patients at the Florida Center for Weight Management are treated individually as each person possesses specific needs. Although each patient desires to accomplish a similar outcome, individual treatments vary based upon other associated medical conditions which may be present. Weight loss is affected by medical conditions as well as medications that can interfere with losing weight. As a patient loses weight it is common for other medical disorders to improve. This is true of hypertension, diabetes, sleep apnea and elevated cholesterol. It is also commonplace for patients who lose weight to reduce their need of medications for other disorders as they Also improve. Unlike other medical practices, Dr. Seder personally sees each patient with each visit. As each patient succeeds, their other medical conditions improve as well. Based upon patient preference, Dr. Seder will communicate with the patient's other physicians to keep them informed regarding their progress. Weight loss program: Patients start by reviewing their medical past history in detail as well as reviewing their current medications. This is followed by a medical examination as well as a discussion with Dr. Seder outlining a specific treatment plan. Most patients lose three to ten pounds monthly. Losing weight does not have to be complicated. However, where other programs fail Dr. Seder will succeed because of his vast experience and treatment of other complicated patients. Our program addresses not only the reason for being overweight it also provides each patient with the means to MAINTAIN their weight loss once their goal has been achieved!
