About Accepting new patients... Story Rural Health Care, Inc. operates community health centers throughout central South Dakota. We have clinics in Ft. Pierre, Highmore, Onida, Murdo, Gettysburg, and Presho. We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most other insurances. No one is turned away due to inability to pay. You may qualify for the sliding fee based on your income and size of your family.
