Story Dr. Robert Rooney earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from The University of New Orleans and his dental degree from L.S.U. School of Dentistry. Upon completion of his dental degree, he completed two years of advanced specialty training in Prosthodontics from L.S.U. School of Dentistry. Dr. Rooney is a trained specialist in Prosthodontics recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA) in replacement and restoration of teeth. Prosthodontists are highly trained in techniques and procedures for treating many diverse and complex dental conditions and restoring optimum function and esthetics. These include: crowns, bridges, complete and removable partial dentures and dental implant restoration. Dr. Rooney maintains a Family Dental Practice with emphasis on Cosmetic, Implant, and Reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Rooney is a recognized specialist in prosthodontics, a specialty of dentistry which deals with the restoration and replacement of teeth and implant reconstruction.
