Story On March 15, 1781. the largest, most hotly-contested battle of the Revolutionary War's Southern Campaign was fought at the small North Carolina backcounty hamlet of Guilford Courthouse. We are the stewards of Guilford Courthouse National Military Park, honoring the memory of those who fought and died here. We strive to educate present and future generations about the Battle of Guilford Courthouse and the American Revolution.
