Story Mendocino Inn & Spa is a picturesque retreat located in Northern California’s Mendocino Coast off Highway 1 adjacent to the cerulean-blue Pacific Ocean. The lodge was designed and crafted with custom-made Honduras wood doors and hand-rubbed Red Oak ceilings. Most of the furniture at Mendocino gives a flair of contemporary elegance with an arboraceous feel reflective of the surrounding Redwood forest. Rooms have imported cork flooring from Portugal, Italian microfiber sofas and bathroom floors finished in ocean green slate from Madagascar. Enjoy a restful night on Swedish Tempurpedic beds. The Inn was designed for intimacy housing 10 luxury suites with dappled views of the ocean on a beautiful day. Visit the decks upstairs to soak in the privacy of the resort nestled in a forest by the sea. Your senses will enjoy breathing in the moist fresh air and beautiful smell of lavender, roses and wisteria from our gardens below.
