MISSION STATEMENT The Wauwatosa Police Department exists to detect criminal acts and to apprehend the offenders of such acts. To this end, the department shall also preserve the public peace and safety of all citizens in accordance with the laws and statutes of the Federal and State governments and the ordinances of the City of Wauwatosa. The police shall be diligent in working together with the citizens and members of the public to carry out the mission of this department.
