About The James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital provides for the health care needs of Veterans in the Tampa area. Find more details of our services at our Web site http://www.tampa.va.gov/. Story Transportation: Transportation provides services such as special mode drivers for those eligible, shuttle buses to the outpatient clinics (main hospital, Physical therapy, comp/pen north & south, PCA, MHC, eye clinic, pharmacy and dermatology) and a floater express driver that assists in overflow and needed emergencies. We also provide a Tampa based Bay Pines shuttle and work in conjunction with the Bay Pines’ shuttle & Orlando Shuttle. DAV/VOLUNTEER SERVICES: DAV provides transport for all persons that need transport to and from the below DAV centers as well as a last resort Transportation after all other means have been attempted. All persons riding must be ambulatory and/or able to transfer self in and out of vehicle.
