About We are Amite's favorite place to eat! We serve breakfast Monday thru Saturday 5am-11am and lunch 11am-2pm. Friday's we are open until 9pm. Story Described as fast-food service with a relaxing & friendly hometown environment, Master Chef's new location in Amite is spacious & open with a great menu for the whole family. Generous portions of golden fried catfish & crispy on the outside, tender & juicy oysters as well as local Gulf fried shrimp are just the tip of the iceberg. Master Chef has delightful po-boys & their hamburgers are the best in town. We highly suggest trying his addicting onion rings & the Master Chef himself has offered you a Sunshine coupon to help you do that! Owner Tony LaMarca has been awarded the Amite city Chamber Business Person of the Year Award for his community support & this great business which adds to the charm & personality of Amite City itself. He hired the chef from Legacy Amite Restaurant, Ardillo's & with her input, developed the Daily Specials Menu that Master Chef features, Red Beans & Rice every Monday.
