Story We are proud that Koh-I-Noor Indian Restaurant & Lounge is a locally, family-owned and managed restaurant with roots from the Champaign-Urbana area and authentic recipes from Northern India. Ujjwal Ghimire owns the restaurant and manages it along side of his brother, Sanny, mother, Mina, and father, Chef Hari Pratap Ghimire. Chef Ghimire started Sitara Indian Restaurant in Urbana and was the head chef. Now, Chef Ghimire is the head chef at Koh-i-noor Indian Restaurant. With 35 years of professional cooking experience our Chef knows how to properly prepare and season foods to satisfy your cravings.
