About Luxury bed and breakfast located in the Historic District of Minden, LA. Something new in the world of B-and-B's Story Huffman House bed-and-breakfast – It is a unique mixture of a luxury historic inn and cutting edge technology. Each one of our beautiful well-appointed rooms has access to wireless high-speed Internet and comes standard with and over sized high definition TV with expanded cable including premium channels. Each room in Huffman House offers an exceptionally comfortable bed that is serviced daily with clean crisp linens. The Huffman House Bed and Breakfast is a Queen Ann Revival Style home, that was built by Mr. J.H. Nelson in 1918 on the site of the 1870 Reams house. Wood and architectural pieces from the original home was used in the construction of the much larger Nelson homestead. Currently the Huffman home has over 4800 ft.² in the main living quarters with the adjacent pool house adding an additional 300 ft.² plus a second full kitchen. Kimberly and James and Kimberly Huffman purchased this home in 2015 and begin a cosmetic renovation to freshen this grand old historic home. Kimberly and James both hoteliers by trade secured the proper documentation and permits to transform this grand historic home into a Luxury Inn / Bed and Breakfast in the downtown Minden Historic District in June of 2015. The Huffman House B&B is now renting rooms and has received outstanding reviews for its guests.
