Suncrest is a 202 bed skilled nursing facility serving those residents who need long-term care and extensive rehabilitation. We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay, and most all other third party payers. Lapeer County Medical Care Facility features a 32 bed secure Dementia Unit with special programming for the Alzheimer’s residents. Also, on the facility grounds, is a State of Michigan license child care learning center, licensed for 54 children ranging from two months to six years old. This child care center serves not only employee’s children, but it is open to the public. The Facility leases one of its wings to a private practice physician group, which also includes an X-Ray department. Suncrest offers on site podiatry, dental, vision, and audiology services all accepting Medicare and Medicaid payments.
