About Santa Fe's Comprehensive Eyecare Center and Optical. Story Established in 1997 as a merger of the Optometric Physician practices of Dr. Dwight Thibodeaux and Dr. Paul Tachau, Accent on Vision has since grown to become one of the largest and most comprehensive eye care centers in the state. Dr. Ashley Pulis has recently joined the practice. She brings a strong medical background and youthful vigor to the office. Full-scope optical, medical and minor surgical services are delivered in the 4000 square foot facility in central Santa Fe. An array of diagnostic instrumentation for the management of glaucoma and retinal disease includes measurement and contour scanning of the optic nerve, retinal surface tomography and wide field laser digital retinal imaging. An in-house lab, same day service and certified opticians complete the package of comprehensive and convenient optical services. Anna Bell Hesch, practice administrator and ABO Certified Optician, leads the staff with service and competence rarely seen in the industry. Certified Technicians assist in surgical procedures, contact lens fitting, patient training and low vision services. Accent on Vision is the only low vision practice in northern New Mexico.
