About Exceptional patient care, state-of-the-art equipment and a complete range of dental services-that's why our practice is recognized as one of the most professional and compassionate dental practices in Shelby. Story Dr. Hounshell graduated from the UNC School of Dentistry at Chapel Hill in 1982. He was blessed to finish dental school early and worked as a clinical instructor until taking the State Licensure Boards. He received numerous senior dental student awards including: the Senior Student Award showing the greatest interest, Knowledge and Proficiency in General Dentistry, OKU Honorary Dental Society and the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Senior Dental Student Award.
