Trace Electrical Services and Testing; LLC is a full member of the International Electrical Testing Association (NETA), and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). In addition, all Trace Testing technicians are members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. NETA Specifications Enhance Trace Electric’s Capabilities: Electrical testing organizations, as spelled out by NETA, cannot be traditional electrical contractors. Trace Electrical Services and Testing abides by this, offering unbiased and professional electrical testing which is independent of installers, suppliers, and manufacturers of electrical equipment. Trace Testing’s employees perform electrical testing functions on a regular basis, another NETA requirement. Tests are conducted and documentation is submitted by Trace Testing to NETA, which gives Trace the designation of a NETA Accredited Company. Trace Testing’s technicians are also certified in accordance with the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)/NETA ETT-2010, Standard for Certification of Electrical Testing Technicians, which requires that every crew leader of an on-site electrical testing team holds a Level III or higher certification in electrical testing. NETA standards also dictate a hierarchy of tests and procedures in a particular sequence in order to determine expected results from electrical equipment, which is strictly followed by Trace.
