About The Mustang Fire Department operates out of one fire station located at 465 West SH 152. Department staff consists of both paid and volunteer personnel. Providing fire suppression, public fire education, pre hospital emergency care. Story Mustang Fire Department provides fire suppression, public fire education, pre hospital emergency medical care or just assisting a citizen with changing a smoke detector battery, the men and women of the Mustang Fire Department are dedicated to our Mission. One of our ongoing goals of the fire department is to provide Mustang citizens with pre-hospital advanced medical care (paramedic level). To achieve this goal, department members are being trained in advance medical care and incentives for firefighters that achieve Intermediate and Paramedic licensure have been instituted. Patients will continue to be transported to hospital care facilities by EMSA, but Advanced Life Support (ALS) capability by the Mustang Fire Department has become reality.
