From the Colorado National Monument, with its unusual rock formations and hiking trails, and the Grand Mesa, with its fishing, ATV trails and hiking trails, to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison-there is something for almost everyone. Discover desert hiking, biking and ATV trails (similar to Moab) nearby. About one hour from KOA, visit the Grand Mesa National Forest or Uncompahgre National Forest. Return to KOA for a campfire and barbecue or head to town for some great dining.
