With the help of dedicated employees along with our physicians, volunteers and Board members, we have created a unique patient experience. Our patient satisfaction is the highest among all hospitals in Calhoun and Etowah counties. Along with our community’s continued support and encouragement, we continue our passionate pursuit of excellence. We have focused on bringing more healthcare services to our community to eliminate costly travel expenses. These efforts include the recruitment of specialists and the establishment of satellite specialty clinics on our campus and in neighboring communities. While delivering quality healthcare is the single most important contribution we make, it is evident our efforts are making a positive impact on the communities we serve. In January of 2012, RMC Jacksonville partnered with the city of Jacksonville, our primary care physicians, Jacksonville City Schools and Jacksonville State University to form Alabama Healthy Communities. Alabama Healthy Community is a not-for-profit organization that is working with local healthcare providers, community leaders, educators and businesses to coordinate patient care, promoting active living and to achieve healthier lifestyles.
