Kevin Bennett studied economics at the University of Texas at Austin before working toward his Juris Doctor in the South Texas College of Law. After graduating, he gained hands-on experience under the Honorable Judge Jim York of the 246th District Court of the State of Texas. This up close look at the inner working of the state's justice system convinced him to help those overwhelmed by the charges that they face. While serving those in Austin, Kevin Bennett also participates as a member of organizations such as the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyer's Association, the Austin Bar Association, and the Court Appointed Family Advocates. His active role in the legal community allows him to stay updated on current legal issues throughout the state and share his experiences as an attorney. Outside of his law firm, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending sports and performing arts events, and traveling.
