About San Mateo Dentist Dr. Phan’s Dental Practice is a small, private, service-oriented dental office stressing quality treatment in family & cosmetic dentistry Story San Mateo Dentist Dr. Sheena Phan was born in a quiet suburb in Southern California. She received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California at Berkeley, where she also minored in Disability Studies. While at UCB, she took on leadership roles in student-run medical and dental clinics for underprivileged individuals, which shaped her career in the healthcare field. Dr. Phan then attended the prestigious University of Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, where she was inducted to the Tau Kappa Omega Honor Society and recognized for her commitment to volunteerism locally, nationally and internationally.
