About Located in the Southwest Beaverton area, Therapeutic Associates Scholls Physical Therapy provides personal, one-on-one physical therapy care to address all of your orthopedic needs to return to your best functional ability. Story Amy Shepro Tanous PT, DPT Director: Scholls Physical Therapy Amy was raised in Southwest Portland, attending Lincoln High School. She then traveled down to southern California and attended Occidental College in Los Angeles. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2006 and participated in NCAA DIII softball for the Tigers. She then obtained her graduate degree from Western University of Health Sciences in 2009, earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Amy returned to the Pacific Northwest and began her career as a therapist in 2009, working for Therapeutic Associates – Beaverton Physical Therapy. In May of 2012, Amy transitioned to her role of Director of Physical Therapy at the new Scholls location. She currently lives in Beaverton with her husband and enjoys working on their home, gardening, playing with their dog, hiking, camping and playing slow pitch softball.
