About Personal vision tattoo specialists. Buy Art. Learn about the stories, images and myths of American electric tattooing! Story The NOTM will be concerned with preserving the stories, spirit, images, myths and truths of American electric tattooing from its beginnings in the late 19th century to present, with an emphasis on New Orleans. It is an educational resource for those interested in the progression of the art medium. The NOTM will house a permanent collection of artifacts and personal accounts from local legends, an art gallery with rotating shows that will focus on artwork created by local tattooers, a bookstore showcasing related books and periodicals, as well as my own small, appointment-based custom tattoo studio. The active studio will offer a nice contrast to the museum, showing the contemporary developments in art-styles and industry. There is currently no museum or business in New Orleans dedicated to tattoo history and culture like the proposed New Orleans Tattoo Museum. It will be a strong asset to the surrounding community for generations to come.
