About After undergoing a 2-year restoration, the National Register listed mansion reopened as a bed and breakfast in 2000. Today, the Schenck Mansion is an ideal homestead for guests to return to after a day of sightseeing, shopping, and exploring. Story WE WELCOME YOU to relax and rejuvenate on 11 acres of park-like grounds at the Schenck Mansion Bed & Breakfast Inn. As you enter the iron gates, a tree-lined drive carries you past terraced hillsides, a small vineyard, water fountains and then up to generous off-street parking. Behind the mansion, a small waterfall empties into a pond with koi, waterlilies and bullfrogs. Stone steps lead to an iron and stone gazebo.
