About Visit our web site at http://santaclaraadulted.org Story The main Adult Education Center office at 1840 Benton Street is open: Monday - Thursday, 8:30am to 8:00pm, Friday, 8:00am to 1:00pm Mission The mission of Santa Clara Adult Education is to empower adults of all ages and abilities to succeed in an ever-changing world. Products "A healthy society educates its children early and its adults ongoing." There isn't a day that passes when we are not inspired by the fortitude and excitement on the Wilson Campus. Although funding for adult education continues to be at risk, we are grateful for the ongoing renovation taking place. Bond money from Measure J, designated for renovation for school sites only, is funding the progress you see on this campus. One wing of the campus is complete with the renovation of the cooking room, art room, sewing room, career center, computer lab, exercise room, Wilson Preschool Resource Center and Family Child Education Office. Bathrooms in this wing have also been renovated. Completion for the pool and locker rooms is around the corner. You will also see in this website that our room numbers have been changed. We know that this will be a challenge, so we ask for your patience as we move forward with this new endeavor. As we end this school term, our 30th year of providing adult education to the community, we move in the direction of the State Department's Adult Education Strategic Plan by following its mission to "assist in the advancement of California's economic, workforce development and societal goals by preparing adult learners for college, career, and civic responsibility." We will be doing this through our Career Programs, English as a Second Language, High School Diploma, GED and Parent Education. We will continue to focus on preparation for college, preparation for career and preparation for civic responsibility. Thank you for your ongoing support. We encourage you to sign up for classes in our newly renovated rooms. We are looking forward to getting back in the pool and joining you for those exercise classes.
