About Sea kayak training and trips Story Cross Currents Sea Kayaking provides group and individual sea kayak instruction to beginning, intermediate and advanced paddlers. In addition to instructional classes, we also provide multi-day training tours and organize trips to places such as Baja, the Outer Banks and the Green River in Utah. The primary instructor is Rick Wiebush, who is an ACA Instructor Trainer (L3), Open Water Instructor and a BCU Level 2 Coach. Rick frequently runs courses in conjunction with other well-known instructors such as Tom Nickles, Alison Sigethy, Mitch Mitchell, Kevin Black, Brian Blankinship, Tom Noffsinger and Mike Kunselman. Our goal is to facilitate paddler development by teaching new skills, exposing people to new environments, getting everyone to stretch their limits and to do so in a way that is both safe and fun.
