About Today, Pucci's Pharmacy takes great pride in being a part of the Sacramento community. Let us show you why we are different than most pharmacies. Story Pucci's Pharmacy has been serving the Sacramento area for over 75 years. In 1930, Peter A. Pucci opened Homeland Pharmacy at 19th Street and Broadway. Two years later, Peter and his brother Dino opened Pucci's Pharmacy at 10th and J Street and moved Pucci’s Professional Pharmacy to 26th and I Streets in 1948, sensing that Sacramento would be expanding to the east of downtown. In 1979, Peter and Dino retired and sold their business to Tom and Linda Nelson. In 1991, the Nelsons moved Pucci's Leader Pharmacy to its present location at 28th and J Street, which was formerly the home of Sims Hardware, a Sacramento institution in itself. In 2016 Tom and Linda decided it was time to retire and sold Pucci's to Clint Hopkins and Joel Hockman. Clint and Joel are focused on providing the same personalized service started by Peter and Dino and carried forward by Tom and Linda.
