About J. Petter Galleries, open March 1 thru December 31, is one of the largest fine art galleries in Saugatuck Douglas & has a fine wine bar! Story The J. Petter Galleries is the combined Petter Art Gallery and Petter Wine Gallery. We are located just south of the Saugatuck-Douglas Bridge on Blue Star Hwy. Our building contains one of the oldest and largest fine art galleries in the area. Our visitors enjoy strolling around the gallery spaces while sipping wine, beer or cider. Or they relax in one of our many indoor and outdoor comfy seating areas. There is a beautiful connected barn that barely contains the vintage art and decor shop, Upscale Mercantile.
