About Professional 911 ALS EMS service Story Delaware County EMS DCEMS provides the only 911 advanced life support service for Delaware County including the city of Muncie. DCEMS currently responds from five stations. DCEMS is comprised of Paramedics and Advanced EMT's that respond on a wide variety of medical calls, often in conjunction with other Emergency Medical Services and local Fire Departments. DCEMS is on duty 24 hours a day,7 days a week,365 days a year.Our staff works rotating 24 hour shifts.Each staff member is on duty an average of 240 hours a month. We also provide a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) Team and a Level A Haz Mat Team to the entire county.
