About Northside Psychiatric Services offers a full array of mental health care such as assessments, evaluations and treatments for you or your family members. Story Charlotte Behavioral Health Care, serving the behavioral and substance abuse needs of Charlotte County, announced the opening of a new office in Port Charlotte in late November, 2012. The main campus is located at 1700 Education Ave Punta Gorda. Northside Psychiatric Services, is open at 1032 Tamiami Trail, Unit 7 Port Charlotte, FL 33953 in the Murdock Town Center. Northside Psychiatric Services a division of Charlotte Behavioral Health Care will continue to provide Charlotte County and now Sarasota County residents with programs and services in an array of expert care. With opening a new office, CBHC is able to accommodate the growing need for children’s behavioral and mental health services in northern Charlotte County and south Sarasota County areas. Adding this location better meets the needs of current and future consumers in our community. Fees for services are based on a sliding scale with income verification required. Private health insurance, Value Options, Medicaid and Medicare assignments are also accepted when applicable.
