About We are a locally owned and operated family business. We excel in helping the local homeowner and contractor with all their home improvement needs. Story Budget Home Center was opened in 1984 at a much smaller location on Main street. The owners are Butch and Bev Vernon, they built the current location on Boston Ave in 1999. The Home Center is a 80,000 square foot store with a drive-thru lumber yard so you only have to load once. Our departments include: Hardware, Building materials, tools, plumbing, paint, electrical, lawn and garden, Decking, Doors and Windows, Kitchen and Bath and a full Tool Rental Center. Budget Home Center is the largest independent decking dealer in the state of Colorado.
