About Athena Bodywork offers Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, Medical, and Sports Massage therapy in Corvallis, OR. Story We base our practice around the philosophy that the body is best able to heal and care for itself when it is in a relaxed and calm state. Therefore massage sessions focus on relieving any ongoing muscle-tension and pain to relax the physical body, while creating a serene atmosphere to calm the mind. We work closely with every client to understand their needs and plan a treatment session that they will love. Additional modalities such as deep tissue, trigger-point therapy, hot stone massage, and application of heat or cold are just some of tools my client and I have available to us in creating a treatment plan.
