About Non-Profit Social Club for the LGBTQ Community and its supporters and allies. Story Welcome! Impulse is a non-profit gay social club in Charlottesville, VA. We are open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm until at least 4am.* ( Each night there are door fees depending on the event and whether your a member or guest to our Private Non-Profit Member Club )......so all Guest fees and Member fees are considered to be donations so they are not refundable. We have many fun special events. Our dance floor is open every Friday and Saturday night! Non-Members and Guests are ALWAYS welcome, and able to enjoy our ABC license. ( Guest can enjoy BEER AND WINE / Jello Shots / Impulse Special Bar Shots / Club Tails based on the VA ABC laws for a Non-Profit club ) ( Members may bring in a bottle of LIQUOR which goes behind our bar. You don't have to be gay to be welcomed in to our family, For details, ask here, on Facebook, or at the door. Membership is open to anyone with a supportive attitude toward our GAY (LGBTQ) community!
