About URI's Hillel is one of the best places on campus to meet fellow Jews and URI students, to explore and celebrate Jewish life, to enrich oneself and the community and to flat-out have a great time! Mission Hillel’s mission is to enrich the lives of Jewish students so that they may enrich the Jewish people and the world. URI Hillel offers a full array of social, cultural, religious, community service and Israel related programming. Hillel actively engages Jewish students on their own terms: providing them with Jewish opportunities that are meaningful and appealing. Whether they wish to meet other Jews socially, do community service, express themselves artistically, engage in informal Jewish learning or learn more about their traditions, Hillel is there to offer resources, support and encouragement.
