About "The staff of Forney Animal Hospital is dedicated to treating your pet as our own by providing the highest standard of professional care." Story Founded in 1979, Forney Animal Hospital has provided veterinary services to the Forney Community for over 30 years. Since the partnership of Lucille Nix, DVM and Jeffery Pruitt, DVM gained ownership in 2007, Forney Animal Hospital has strived for excellence in the service of veterinary medicine. Dr. Nix also stays active in the Forney Community, allowing student volunteers to observe the practice. She is a member of the Animal Shelter Community and was happy to host the Pet Palooza in 2011. Dr. Nix is a member of the Chamber of Commerce and supports the community with property taxes. As the City of Forney has grown and prospered, Forney Animal Hospital has grown as well, allowing the practice to accommodate patients in a more timely manner.
